New Brewery Arts

Based in a former, beautifully converted, brewery in the centre of Cirencester New Brewery Arts is home to a Gallery showing exciting contemporary exhibitions, 18 residents, a large craft gallery shop featuring British artisans, The New Brewery Arts Café, a delightful theatre space and four education studios hosting a multitude of art and craft courses and workshops.

The Little Paper Pop Up Gallery 

Rethink  your conception of paper!  Paper baubles, Christmas cards, unusual paper, marvellous fairy lights, prints and papery products will be available for the whole of December in our ground floor Pop Up Gallery.

Cirencester Christmas Arts and Crafts Trail
Thursday 6 December – 6pm-9pm

Now in its fifth successful year the Cirencester Christmas Arts and Crafts Trail is firmly on the regional calendar as the occasion to peruse and select from the huge wealth of art and craft exhibited and for sale in the Cotswolds.

Between 6 and 9pm on Thursday 6th December four Cirencester galleries will throw wide their doors with a warm Christmas welcome. A free ‘ hop in hop out’ taxi will take you between venues to help make the most of this cornucopia of art, craft, festive refreshment and musical entertainment.

Don’t forget to take your event card to each venue to enter the draw to win one of four gallery prizes.

Corinium is joining the trail for the first time giving visitors the chance to meet popular artist Tony Meeuwissen at a preview of his Chistmas show: postage stamp designs for the Royal Mail, children's book art works, Christmas magazine illustrations, prints and more. The museum shop will be open with local craft and refreshment will be available.

Lantern Making Workshops

As part of Christmas in Cirencester 2012, there will be a beautiful procession of paper lanterns through the streets of Cirencester to the Market taking place on Saturday 8th December starting at 5pm.  In the weeks running up to the Christmas in Cirencester celebrations, there will be 3 workshops organised at New Brewery Arts where children can learn how to make these wonderful lanterns.  This is very much a fun family activity so parents, brothers and sisters are all encouraged to take part. 


The workshops will take place from 10am to 1pm as follows:
