Christmas Market

Cirencester Town Council are delighted to announce that the Christmas Market will return for its 3rd year in 2012. The market will run from Friday 30th November - Sunday 16th December.  Hours are 10am to 6pm daily.  Note that a road closure for Market Place will be in effect from 26th November to 17th December.  Please click here for details.

Exhibitors have been carefully selected based on the quality of their products, with a firm emphasis on local, British and European-made goods and produce as well as items that may not be easy to find in High Street shops. We will be marketing to a wide catchment area as part of Christmas in Cirencester, which will include a number of related activities designed to pull in as many shoppers as possible.

Skating Rink

New for 2012 is the addition of a skating rink in the Abbey Grounds, steps away from the beautiful Parish Church.  From the Market Place, take a walk through the Enchanted Trail and enjoy a half-hour of skating, followed by a mug of hot chocolate!  The skating rink will be open from midday - 8pm (30 November - 16 December).  If you have any questions about the skating rink, please call Jamie Walton at 01285 655 646 or to send an email.

Charter Market & Farmer's Market

Cirencester's regular twice-weekly stallholders will continue to trade on their usual market days (Mondays and Fridays) during the Christmas market.  The Farmers Market will trade on Saturday 8th December from 8:30am - 2:00pm.  If you would like further information on the Charter Market or would like to hire a stall, please contact the Town Council's Customer Information Point on Tel: 07729 524 017 or email .
