Street Pastors

Cirencester Street Pastors is an initiative of Churches Together in Cirencester in association with the Ascension Trust (the national organising body of Street Pastors), local police and the local authority. It is part of a national inter-denominational church response to urban problems, with Street Pastors engaging with vulnerable people on the streets late at night and early in the mornings to listen, talk and care.

Since launching last year, the first 18 recruits now patrol the streets on Cirencester on Saturday evenings.
